The central theme in Physical Science is the study of matter leading to the development of the atomic model. The course also has a major focus on units, unit conversions, and unit analysis as a method of problem solving. Students will perform several experiments and be introduced to the proper experimental documentation methods.

An exciting course that begins to explain the magic behind chemicals and their reactive properties.  Students study the fundamentals of molecular interactions and how they are measured.  Students will work on mastering their experimental methods during this class, and will be challenged to design their own experiment at some point.

The central theme of Conceptual Physics is the study of mass, force, and energy. Later in the course students will begin to further develop their understanding of the atomic model. Emphasis on the understanding of units and unit conversions continues. Experimental documentation and report writing continues to be built upon as well.
